Al-Noor is designed to work primarily offline.

  • No Personal Data: We do NOT collect, store, transmit, or share your personal information or usage activity.
  • Offline Processing: Quran recitation, Duas, Prayer Guides, and other core features operate completely offline. No user data is sent to our servers.

2. Device Permissions

The App requests the following permissions only to provide its core features:

  • Location Access (GPS):
    Used locally on your device to calculate accurate prayer times and determine the Qibla direction. If location permission is denied, the App uses default offline coordinates (such as Dhaka). Your location is never transmitted to our servers.
  • Notification Permission:
    Required on Android 13+ to deliver local prayer reminders and notifications.

3. Third-Party Services & Advertising

To keep Al-Noor free for everyone, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements.

Google AdMob may collect certain technical information such as advertising identifiers, general location information, device information, and diagnostic logs in accordance with Google's policies.
